Class Five: Awakening From the Dream

In this class Master Charles introduces the four quadrants of the Holistic Model of Reality.  We’ve previously discussed the two horizontal polarities of subjective and objective, positive and negative.  Now we introduce the two vertical polarities of individual consciousness and universal consciousness.  The two vertical polarities are always in relation to each other.  Individuated consciousness, however, is a fragmented, incoherent energy field.  Universal consciousness is a unified, coherent field. As such, the interaction is limited in that it is self-referential to the unique database of the individuated consciousness.

In the involutionary cycle, this limitation is created by the fragmented mind-field, which has dominance over the heart-field with its coherent, positive dominant energy field.  This class discusses the relationship of the mind-field and the heart-field, how the dominant mind-field operates, and how the heart-field ultimately gains dominance over the mind-field in the evolutionary cycle.  It is only then that the two vertical polarities truthfully interact.

Application – Class Practice

The holistic awareness application continues with focus on the breath. In-breath….Space….Out-breath….Space. Master Charles guides us in retaining the space, thus creating balance and the Balance Position. Our holistic awareness expands and we are more wakeful—more fully present in the here and now. Periodically he returns our attention to the breath—the in-breath and the out-breath and the spaces between them.

He instructs us to lengthen the spaces, creating the Balance Position and observing our wakefulness and our experience of holistic awareness. In his focus on the breaths and spaces, he reminds us that the in-breath represents the interior polarity and the out-breath represents the exterior polarity. Observe the duration of the in-breath to the out-breath. In most of humanity, the out-breath is longer reflecting default dominance of the objective polarity. In this exercise, we can bring focus to equalizing the breaths and retaining the spaces, thus, emphasizing the non-dominant positive polarity and creating balance. Revisit the video with focus on Master Charles teaching this technique over and over. It’s all about practice.
