In this first class, Master Charles Cannon delineates the mechanics of actualizing balance in the dense dimensions of our Individuated Consciousness— the physical, emotional and mental levels. This is where the truly practical, day-to-day applications of this comprehensive course of study become obvious. After all, this is where we experience life– in our physical, emotional and mental dimensions … our bodies, minds and hearts. However, as we will learn, this is not all there is!

Application – Class Practice

In his introductory class, Master Charles Cannon began with a call to wakefulness through practice of the Balance Position. Master Charles originated the term, the “Balance Position”. He originated the practice of this powerful balancing technique, and there is no one more qualified to teach it. Thus, he began by reminding the class that we live in a two polarity relative reality – a dominant objective exterior and a non-dominant subjective interior. Balance is created through emphasis of the non-dominant subjective interior. Thus, we focus on the still, quiet interior of our “being” simultaneous to the active, noisy exterior of our “becoming”. Through this emphasis, we create balance, and our holistic awareness expands.

Throughout his class, Master Charles returned again and again to the Balance Position that allows us to actualize the principle of balance. He reminded us again and again that holistic experience is proportional to balance in relative reality and that, through focused awareness, we include both polarities in simultaneity. The inside is consciousness. The outside is consciousness. Both are consciousness. It’s me. It’s you. It’s all and everything. There’s only One, and this is true holistic experience.
