Class Three: Balancing the Emotional Dimension

Developing balance in the emotional dimension requires addressing your default dominant, fear-based emotions and learning how to actualize your non-dominant, love-based emotions and feelings. From fear to love! This is done through proven techniques that you will learn and apply in everyday situations.

Application – Class Practice

The wakefulness exercise for this class began with a focus on breathing with awareness and watching the experience of relaxation and mind becoming quiet. We understand that all of our dimensionality is experienced as two opposite polarities. In the emotional dimension, the polarities are experienced as love (the positive polarity) and fear (the negative polarity). From the two primary emotions, all feelings arise. We focused on the breath with awareness and the still space between the breaths as a technique to create balance and expand holistic awareness. We noticed the silence underneath the thoughts and feelings.

As the exercise progressed, the focus was shifted to awareness of the heart-field and the energy of the heart-field in relation to focused breathing. A guided exercise focused on a positive emotion, such as gratitude. We watched the breath and the feeling of gratitude and then included a heart-field focus, while flowing the positive emotion of gratitude and letting the feeling flow through the heart-field. We visualized the heart-field dilating and flowing love while watching tensions relax and holistic awareness expand.
