Master Charles introduces the important focusing technique of watching the breath as another application of the Balance Position. He guides us through the in-breath and the out-breath and the mid-points between the breaths as balance points (or spaces). He shows us that we are focused on the breaths more than the spaces, consistent with our external objective focus in the world. He instructs us to focus on the spaces by retaining the breath for a few seconds in the spaces. In this way, create balance. Through balance there is holistic awareness expansion and we experience ourselves as a witnessing consciousness watching both polarities of the relative field.
Throughout the class Master Charles repeatedly brings us back to wakefulness through the breath and the Balance Position. We must practice the technique to learn it, and there is no better teacher than the authentic master. Breath….Space…..Breath…..Space…..the oscillation of the polarities of the relative field held in balance delivers the Balance Position and the experience of holistic awareness. In the Balance Position, you are meditating and delivering yourself to the experience of true reality, the experience of the eternal now as one blissful consciousness.
